The remote learning package consists of a live interactive lecture delivered online by one of the Qi Statistics team, together with workshops for you to complete in your own time (solutions and data sets provided), plus a pdf of the lecture notes and email support whilst you are completing the workshop after the course for up to 2 weeks. More than just a recorded webinar and as close to face-to-face training as it can be!

In this remote training session Qi Statistics will give a live webinar on the key ideas behind the how and why of panel performance, including clarification of the statistical methods behind some of the different approaches and a look at what the EyeOpenR outputs mean. Topics covered include:

  • Panel performance from standard ANOVA models
    • Discrimination
    • Consistency/Agreement
    • Repeatability
  • Setting Performance targets
  • Investigating scaling models effects using  the MAM model
    • Understanding the MAM CAP table
  • Monitoring panel/panellist performance over time

The remote training package includes the live lecture, plus time for questions/discussion and a set of exercises with worked solutions (explanation of statistics and interpretation with screen shots).

If you do not have EyeOpenR software already, we can grant you a free standalone licence for use for 3 months so you can try the software – you do not need to have EyeQuestion software to use EyeOpenR.

Approx 1.5-2hr workshop

 

Pre-Requisites:

A basic understanding of statistics is assumed i.e. knowledge of statistical terminology and summary measures such as mean, variance, standard deviations.
