This course is a refresher for the “Statistical analysis of consumer research data” series of training modules.
What this course will cover:
- Measures of variation – variance and standard deviation
- Precision of means – standard errors and confidence intervals
- Which to use, standard deviation or standard error?
- Comparing means using t-test-links with confidence intervals and Least Significant Difference (LSD)
- Statistical significance – what it does and does not tell you
- Simple analysis of variance by hand to aid understanding of the method
- Consumer test liking data :analysis of variance and comparison of means
- Simple data plotting, bar charts and histograms
If you are new to or a bit rusty in statistics it is highly recommended that you follow this module before beginning other modules of the Statistical analysis of consumer data course.
